Selaginella lepidophylla 'Rose of Jericho'

We've finally got our hands on this mad thing, the Rose of Jericho.

It is a Selaginella, a moisture loving plant that is incredibly resilient. Sit it in a bowl of water near to a window and watch the magic unfold. 

It will take a few weeks to fully rehydrate, but the process will be fascinating! Watch it turn from purple-grey to bright green and grow right in front of your eyes.
