November 2021. Barnwood Trust came to us for plants and a maintenance contract to fill their stunning Georgian building in Cheltenham.
Barnwood had three floors to fill with varying environments from hot windowsills to wide open meeting spaces. The plants needed to be right for each environment and the pots needed to match the modern decor.
We installed various large plants such as a Monstera deliciosa in the open plan meeting area, sun loving Schefflera and Dieffenbachia on some of the bright windowsills and a large Alocasia cucullata in a lower light spot on the floor.
A large Polyscias was used for one of the meeting rooms which was perfect for the warm, still conditions and we repotted and saved some of the existing plants, such as three large Phlebodium aureum (Blue Star Fern) in a window display unit.
The team was given a spreadsheet with exact care advice & watering guidelines for each plant, as there was a lot to remember. We then visited every 2-3 weeks to check and carry out any extra maintenance the plants needed.
This contract lasted over a year and it was a joy to see these plants flourish on each visit.
