Baby Plants: Checking Your Roots

Root Checking! When you receive any plant, especially if it is a baby plant, it is a good idea to check your roots to see what state the plant is in at present. This can inform how you care for it, whether you repot straight away or in the future, and can be a good place to check for bugs and other health issues.

Pull the plant out of the pot and have a little look to see what is going on. If there is more root than compost, then you need to repot!
