Their seaweed is handpicked from the beautiful beaches of Cornwall in South West England. The seaweed they pick is classed as waste/cast seaweed that gets pushed up high onto the the beaches in Cornwall.

Usually, this seaweed will remain in pockets on the beach where it will either rot and attract flies or be moved and not utilised effectively. For the guys at Aqua Culture, they wanted to do more, so they closely collaborate with local councils and environmental agencies to collect the cast seaweed that doesn’t get pulled back into the ocean sustainably.

This enables them to effectively use otherwise waste material without impacting local wildlife or habitats. They then hand-press it into 100% natural seaweed fertiliser.
