Cuttings Box

A set of 5 sample plants from our vast stock of cuttings and seedlings.

We never throw any part of any plant away. We pop everything in a seed tray full of compost so that it can dry off and then root when it is ready. Some go off to Elm Tree Farm to be repotted by our friends and turned into mini plants, some stay with us. 

This is your chance to get 5 unusual plants for a fraction of the cost.

About the cuttings box

You will receive 5 cuttings of mixed cacti and succulents - some may have roots, some may not. Either way, they will be ready to go into dry soil for the winter period. For succulents, you can give a very light water when potting. Then, leave for most of the winter period. For cacti, do not water until March. Try to keep above 10 degrees (inside the house if possible) as they are delicate.

An instruction leaflet is included in the box also. 

The cuttings will come wrapped in tissue paper in a letterbox parcel, so you get to pay lower shipping and it'll be waiting for you when you arrive home!

Care advice

These plants require bright light. Water thoroughly but only when bone dry, and restrict watering from October to around March. See our care advice article for full details.
