Lithops aucampiae in terracotta
We don't know many people that don't struggle with these plants, but we will sort that out, we promise!
Care advice
The main rule of Lithops care: NO WATER UNTIL MAY. From September to May (Yes! May!) they do not require any water whatsoever. The collector we bought these plants from doesn't even water his until June. During this time you will see them grow new bodies, emerging from the centre of the old plants in an absolutely fascinating lifecycle.
It is ONLY AFTER THIS that they require water. Bright light and air flow is also key. Low temperatures are fine, but any moisture or humidity will finish them off.
Please read our Lithops care advice article for all the details and, if you are worried, please give us a shout. We are here to help, and we will make it our mission to help you grow these magnificent plants.
